What is a domain registrar?

A domain registrar is a company that registers your domain name for you.

If you don't know who your registrar is you will need to contact your prior hosting company. Sometimes they may act as a reseller for a domain registrar. In those cases you'll need to contact the hosting company to have them make the changes to the domain name for you.
